So i want to get a new cpu which is the G4560 for a better experience while playing a game called rust because right now i have 40fps maximum on lowest settings. And i recently found out what my motherboard is (here are the details Manufacturer: Intel Corporation , Product : DQ45CB , SerialNumber : AZCB948004XG). Well i checked the compatability on pc partpicker and it wasnt compatible so i dont know what to do now ive really been looking forward to that cpu ( my gpu is a 750ti low profile)

I currently have 110eur so i can buy the cpu and a new motherboard (maybe) if necessery ( if youre wondering whats that low budget im 15 money doesnt come easy but if everything goes to plan ill make over 700eur so tell me if its waste to even keep updrading this pc because its components are outdated af)

Thank You for your answers!

(sorry for bad english not native)

Not only your motherboard is not compatible with G4560, but also your RAM isn't. So you would need new CPU, new motherboard and new RAM.
In short, there is no sense in trying to upgrade what you have. You need all new build.

what do you mean by my ram not being compatible with my motherboard?

wait so the cpu also has to be compatible with the ram in some sort of way? im sorry im new (not that new but ..)

Sort of. The motherboard that IS compatible with g4560 will only accept DDR4 RAM, so you just can't physically put any other type of RAM. It just won't fit.

The board you have is multiple generations older than the CPU you want to use. That older generation board also uses different ram than current CPUs do. SO for you upgrade you need a CPU, Motherboard, and Ram. And even something as cheap as a G4560 its still gonna cost you over 110.

As an aside spending ANY money to put a better CPU or memory on your current board is a waste of money. The performance bump is not much and your parts are otherwise ancient. Save your money, be patient, buy something new.
