Motherboard Compatibility With GPU

I recently upraded to a Gigabyte H81M-S, I have a question.
Will my board be able to handle GDDR5 GPUs?

Yes. GDDR memory and system DDR memory have nothing to do with each other.

No. What I meant was that if a graphics card has GDDR5 memory, it will work in a motherboard that used DDR3 memory, as I thought that was what you were alluding to.

More to your point, As long as your motherboard has an available PCI-Ex16 slot, the graphics card should work.
