So I'm about to buy a motherboard (gigabyte H310M S2P) which specified with 2666 mhz dual channel RAM support, 9th/8th gen LGA 1151 cpu support, and I'm gonna buy a core i3-9100F cpu which supports maximum 2400 mhz of the RAM speed.
The question is, first of all does a 2400 mhz ram would match up with the motherboard, I mean the speed "2666 mhz" of ram support for motherboard, is that a maximum number or a specific number which means I'm only allowed to buy 2666 mhz ram and not lower or higher?
Second question: If I buy a 2666 mhz ram, would my cpu support only 2400 mhz of that or is it just dont work together??
Third question: Is even my 2400 mhz of ram support cpu, would match up with my 2666 mhz of ram support motherboard? I mean first of all I just wanna know if my motherboard and cpu would match together, then if they do, what kind of ram should I get?
