[SOLVED] Motherboard configuration for fan splitter with 4 pin fan and 3 pin fan

Hi, i have a fan splitter (Y configuration) with 4 pin in all of the headers. I have a 4 pin fan and a 3 pin fan, so what settings should i use in my mobo, PWM or DC? Would my 3 pin fan run with PWM settings? I assume the 4 pin can run DC no problem.

Use DC if all fans on PWM header are not PWM or are not same

I've been experimenting with configuring my 3 pin and 4 pin fans on the same splitter, and DC seems to be okay in running both fans, which I configured in BIOS (though take that with a huge grain of salt since I'm also trying to determine the best method for controlling all my fans off the same header).
