Question Motherboard & CPU compatibility ?

Hello. I am building a system and wanted to be sure that this CPU and Motherboard would work together.

Go to part picker website it is gonna be your best friend, it will show if your component compatibil

When in doubt, look up the manufacturer. PCPP does help too, most of the time.

that cpu will need board with revision 2.x
looking on amazon comments it says it is 2.x revision
so compatibility is okay (as long they dont send you 1.x board)

Thanks. I am not used to dealing with AMD but wanted to give a try. One thing that confused me is that Supermicro says 7001/7002 series. The CPU is 7302p. So is that 7002 series? Not sure how AMD numbering works.

yes that is 7002serie
7001 serie would have number 1 at end (7301 for example)
