a month ago my computers cpu fan connector broke and wouldn't let me start the pc if anything was plugged in it. i've fixed it by changing the connector to a case fan instead of cpu fan connector but it keeps booting me to bios because i dont have anything connected to the cpu fan connector. is it possible to make it so my case fan was the cpu fan?

Solution
SpeedFan has the capability to change addressing, so any fan header can be used as the cpu fan header. It just takes some above average learning curve digging into the 2x fan tabs to get to that point.
A motherboard will not start unless it can detect that a cpu cooler is installed and working.
It does so by sensing that the cpu cooler fan is turning at perhaps 500rpm.
I looked, but your motherboard does not seem to have a pump fan which also would work.

Can you supply a photo of the damaged header?
If you could just connect the speed sensing lead from another fan, that might do it.
