So I have an p9x79 pro motherboard which is lga 2011 socket, while i was putting the cooler in all 3 screws went all the way in and tightened up expec one of them, which happens to be loose. Is this a problem? or can i have the cooler sitting on 3 screws only? Maybe 2 to balance the force out? The problem is not on the cooler but rather one of the screws not holding in the motherboards screw hole. Any suggestion?

You could damage mobo that way. My advice: remove everything from case, and try mounting it again. That way you should be able to see WHY the screw does not hold. Anyway don't do anything hasty and irreversible. Had a guy here asking if he could use a drill to remove one of the stuck cooler screws ...

Motherboard doesnt have a backplaye thats the whole point, instead of just holes that go through it has them totally covered, backplates dont fit these motherboards...

Correct, so replace the one you have if it is damaged.

There are coolers that require the removal of the LGA2011 mounting bracket and they supply you with new ones. That is an option.

Option 2, find a dead board and swap the parts.
