Hi guys,

I am wondering if you are able to help me choose a motherboard + memory for my system.

I have a:
Coolermaster eXtreme Power Plus 460W PSU
Sapphire HD 4850 512MB
AMD Athlon X2 7850 2.8GHz Black Edition Socket AM2+ 3MB Cache

I'm considering purchasing the same processor, so I'll share what I'm looking at for motherboard and memory.

I'm getting one of the ASRock K10N78M AM3/AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 8100 Micro ATX AMD Motherboards and one of the G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kits.

@Robthorne, what is max amount you are willing to spend on the mobo, if you want to keep it cheap, then the 740G boards from ASUS/ Gigabyte/ Foxconn are very good options...

But this mobo would be very good...Reason - It has SB710, which has a BIOS option ACC, which helps in stable overclocking of the older AMD CPUs...The newer Phenom IIs though dont require this as they have it inbuilt in the CPU itself...
Foxconn A76ML-K AM3
