Hi.
I have this setup

ROG strix b550-f gaming wifi
CPU:AMD Ryzen 5 3600Xt
Samsung 970 pro

and when I was reading specs in Asus website I couldn't understand if with my setup I can replace my SSD with a Samsung 980 pro or maybe Samsung 990 pro.
is 980 pro or 990 pro supported by my setup or do I need to upgrade anything else?

thanks in advance.

Yes, it'll support either one.

"Total supports 2 x M.2 slot(s) and 6 x SATA 6Gb/s ports
1 x M.2_1 socket 3, with M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 storage devices support(SATA & PCIe 4.0 x4 mode)"
980Pro will run at it's full speed in first M.2 socket as it's PCIE lanes are connected to CPU's PCIE v4. In second.M.2 it will be a bit slower as it's PCIe lanes are fed from chipset and are v3. 990 will not be able to achieve it's full rated speed because of CPU but will be faster than other ones.
