[SOLVED] Motherboard detects SSD and M.2 but not the other SSD and HDD??

I recently built my PC running an MSI z-370 A-PRO motherboard as well as an i5-8600k 16 gbs of ram.
I have my OS on my SSD that’s detected, but the one that isn’t detected as well as the the HDD are brand new yet not showing up in BiOS.

I’ve tried to change cables both power and SATA and I’ve moved around the connect sata ports. I’m aware that having an M.2 disables Sata port #1 but it’s literally as though my motherboard will only take one hard drive at a time in the sata connectors. Please help this is so confusing

They might be defective. Try returning them, to be replaced.

@Alexoiu there’s no way that 3 of my drives are defective

Then try removing the M.2 drive and make sure that the power cable used for powering the drives is properly connected. Test each drive separately.

@alexoiu I have done that already it’s literally as if my motherboard will only power one sata socket at a time

Then try returning the board, to rule it out.

I replaced the motherboard with a much better one but still no success

Try starting installing Windows and check there what drives are detected. Test different SATA and power cables and SATA ports on the board. If some drives still not detected, I would RMA them.
