Solution
okay firstly you have to identify properly (if you have not done so already the psu and motherboard are bad from independent testing) as to not buy something you dont need. assuming you have done this... your motherboards needs for a I7-4790K would point to a H87 or H97 but preferably to a z87 or Z97 motherboard which you will have to search on eBay and maybe some refurbished supported p[laces like microcenter.com and Newegg.com,

You can run your system on a CX750 grey label for about 60$-80$ the motherboard will run about 100-150, I recently (3 months ago picked up an ASUS gryphon Z87 board for 145$ on eBay.

Z87 ebay search...
1| That PSU is more of an expensive paper weight! You should swap it out for a more reliable unit.

2| Since you own an i7-4790K, you're wasting it's overclocking potential by using a H series chipset. If anything you should look at a Z97 board.

3| What form factor would you like the board in? mITX/mATX/ATX?

4| Mind sharing your full system's specs like so:

Probably looking at mATX like the one I had before, updated my PC components so it's a little cleaner. Should I also be looking at buying used parts?

What's the difference between the z87 and the z97 (also what brands to look out for)? Is my current PSU not enough?
