Motherboard died, need recommendation for replacement

I would like to use all the component and just replace the motherboard.

How did you manage to kill that MB ? My is still running strong with FX 8350 at 4.8GHz. It can handle GT 1060 just as fine as any other. Are you sure it's MB that's bad ? I don't think anybody is making AM3+ MBs any more and that one was one of best ones.
One thing I could mention, originally this system was built for the GTX560 graphics card. Then I upgraded to the GTX1060. Is there a chance that that older style of motherboard cannot handle the 1060?

As in my other option is to go with an updated new motherboard AMD Ryzen 7 and new ram which will run quite much (for me) up to around $400.
That would be an improvement in performance. Is it worth it?
