Greetings, yesterday I was cleaning inside of my computer from dust. After cleaning I simply started up my computer and everything was working fine. I even updated my SSD from Western Digital SSD Dashboard. Everything was going fine and I was just listening music until my computer froze and restarted itself. Thought this could be about me not plugging SATA cable perfectly, I opened the case again, plugged the SATA cables and restarted my computer again. Unfortunately motherboard didn't detect any of my hard drives, not just the SSD. After that I looked into the BIOS to check what has just happened but there was no drives in there, except CD-ROM.
I restarted it again, only to see motherboard stopped detecting my GPU as well. I connected to HDMI cable to motherboard, didn't work again, I took out the PCI cables from GPU and now there was output on the monitor. I tried out plugging PCI cables again, fans were working all this time but there was no output in anyway, either from motherboard or GPU itself. USB ports didn't work either, my mouse didn't work while connected to USB. My keyboard has PS/2 sockets, so it worked, and it still does. SATA cables work while being connected to CD-ROM, but none of the hard drives are being recognized.
I also tried out plugging my SSD into my brother's computer. It didn't recognize the SSD as well and when we tried out plugging his SSD again, SATA cable didn't recognize his SSD. I took another SATA cable from my computer, and his SSD worked again. I haven't tried any other thing, because we both were scared if something could happen to his PC as well.
My RAM's seem to work, no problems in there.
Failing motherboard? Failing PSU? All drives failed at the same time? Everything has been short-circuited except CD-ROM? Then how does GPU fans work? etc. etc.
