Motherboard doesn't recognize GPU, HDD and SSD and USB ports

Greetings, yesterday I was cleaning inside of my computer from dust. After cleaning I simply started up my computer and everything was working fine. I even updated my SSD from Western Digital SSD Dashboard. Everything was going fine and I was just listening music until my computer froze and restarted itself. Thought this could be about me not plugging SATA cable perfectly, I opened the case again, plugged the SATA cables and restarted my computer again. Unfortunately motherboard didn't detect any of my hard drives, not just the SSD. After that I looked into the BIOS to check what has just happened but there was no drives in there, except CD-ROM.

I restarted it again, only to see motherboard stopped detecting my GPU as well. I connected to HDMI cable to motherboard, didn't work again, I took out the PCI cables from GPU and now there was output on the monitor. I tried out plugging PCI cables again, fans were working all this time but there was no output in anyway, either from motherboard or GPU itself. USB ports didn't work either, my mouse didn't work while connected to USB. My keyboard has PS/2 sockets, so it worked, and it still does. SATA cables work while being connected to CD-ROM, but none of the hard drives are being recognized.

I also tried out plugging my SSD into my brother's computer. It didn't recognize the SSD as well and when we tried out plugging his SSD again, SATA cable didn't recognize his SSD. I took another SATA cable from my computer, and his SSD worked again. I haven't tried any other thing, because we both were scared if something could happen to his PC as well.

My RAM's seem to work, no problems in there.

Failing motherboard? Failing PSU? All drives failed at the same time? Everything has been short-circuited except CD-ROM? Then how does GPU fans work? etc. etc.

try it on his computer if it shows the drive your data is good, but if its not showing then the ssd is probably dead and data is gone, you can send it to a data recovery service (but that can be expansive)
sounds like a power surge... sorry to say but if none of your SSDs dont work in both computer, it was a power problem.
Fauilty PSU probably, Fans on GPU can work normaly cause they recieve power from the PCIE port (that doesnt say if the GPU is alive Test is in friends computer).... dont connect anything on that PSU, buy a new one and try then. Hard to say if your MOBO survived, i hope it did, got my fingers crossed and i hope it works out for you...

Thanks for the reply! By saying my SSD not working in both computers, do you also mean that I cannot save it? I will get a SATA - USB connector from my friend to see if I can atleast save data from my SSD. I am still scared about plugging my GPU to another computer, so I don't know about that. Its alright if only the motherboard and PSU got rekt, as some of my components were old enough.

Any idea about CD-ROM still being alive and kicking though?

On my PC, yes, I've tried every cable. Including HDDs. None of them work in my computer. As for my brother's computer I haven't.

Few updates after a whooping 4 months:

GPU works, tried it on my friend's pc.
Both HDDs and SSD are not working in ANY computer. Dissasembled the HDDs, SSD is still in my posession, trying to save it. Data is not important, but I still want to use it.
Memory works, processor works, fans work. No problems on the PSU it seems. RIP motherboard though.

Trying to fix SSD with this method: https://dfarq.homeip.net/fix-dead-ssd/
Hope it will work for someone else who had similar problems.
Many thanks for all the answers.
