Motherboard doesn't screw in right

Case:Thermaltake Vera H23
Motherboard:Gigabyte 970A-UD3P
As the title says i'm having issues getting my motherboard into the case properly. The motherboard goes in on stand-offs but without them it's like the screws aren't thick enough which is strange considering they were advertised as 'Motherboard Screws' I have had to hold my GTX 960 in place with zip ties as it doesn't go into the bracket properly, also the I/O shield does not fit properly either. Please any info would be appreciated!

you are using the wrong screws.the mb will come with different screws for different components.look through the screws they gave you with the board to find the ones that fit.

Thank you for fast response. I believe i am using the manufacturer screws. On the h23 i believe the standoffs are built in but the screws are too thin

by thin im thinking you mean too small?not too short,but too small.i would look thru the hardware they sent you with your board first and if no joy,contact your board manufacter about the issue and see if they will ship you a hardware set.
