Question Motherboard dosen't fit into case.

Hi. I recently bought a corsair crystal 570 x rgb case. Before I bought the case i looked up if all my parts in my current case would fit into the new one and they did. So I bought the case and when it came i took everything out of my old case. But then I tried putting my motherboard (asus z87-a) into the new case and it didn't fit. My motherboard is an ATX motherboard and it even says on the case that ATX motherboards should fit but it dosen't. The standoffs on the motherboard miss the screwholes on the case by about a millimeter or two. If anyone knows why this is happening please help.

A misalignment that small is most likely because of a problem with your I/O shield. Bent prongs or something would be the first place I would look.

Maybe. My I/O sheild prongs are bent but not to the point where it stops the motherboard from fitting into the I/O sheild. But i'll try buying a new I/O sheild.

That shouldn't be required. Do a "test fit" without the I/O shield installed. If there is still a misalignment, then you have to look for something bent or some other obstruction.

Waste of money , it's not the shield.
