Hello,

I have an MSI Pro Z690-A WiFi DDR4 motherboard and an Intel Core i7-12700K CPU. I am trying to download the correct drivers. I'm a simple man and just want to play video games and watch YouTube, streaming services, use Discord etc. -- nothing fancy. I will be installing Windows 11 x64.

I understand that I need the System & Chipset Drivers, On-Board VGA Drivers, and On-Board Audio Drivers. I am confused when it comes to the LAN Drivers, On-Board SATA ACHI/RAID Drivers, and Others Drivers.

For LAN Drivers:
Which Intel Network Drivers version would I need -- the one that has "support I225/I226 Chip," or the other one that doesn't have a description on it? Why or why not? I will be installing the Intel WiFi Driver and BlueTooth Driver.

For On-Board SATA ACHI/RAID Drivers:
I have no idea what any of that means. My only storage includes one 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD (for games) and one 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD (for Windows and everything else). I think the SATA ACHI one is for regular SSDs, which I don't have, so maybe I don't need that. I have no idea what RAID is. Do I even need any of these?

For Others Drivers:
I don't know what any of these are... are they just bloatware/optional? Specifically, what is the Intel Serial IO Drviers and Intel Management Engine Driver? Those look important. Not too keen on the Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology and Intel GNA Scoring Accelerator. Do I need any drivers from this category?

Is there any particular order I should go about installing the drivers (probably WiFi/Network first)? Should I first install all critical Windows 11 updates before installing drivers? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

use the Intel driver tool.
The intel update utility is usually working fine and will install the latest drivers by itself automatically
this will install all Intel drivers
the drivers on the motherboard´s homepage are mostly outdated

you won´t need to install the DTT tool driver (Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology)

needed drivers:
Intel Lan driver
Intel Serial IO Driver
Intel Management Engine Driver
Intel GNA Scoring Accelerator
Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver

only driver you will have to install "manually" is the Realtek HD Audio driver

The 1st lan driver on this page is only the driver, the 2nd one is the complete software tool
usually you will only need the driver

normally is only important if you wanna backup important data and want it synced all the times.

don´t worry to much, I would prefer update windows, then drivers, but the other way around would be working as well.

would update the BIOS if not up to date
