So, when attempting to turn on my PC, all of the leds for my mobo, memory, and gpu light up, however I can't get any display to show up on my computer for BIOS. Also, at the bottom of the motherboard I have a code AE.
Motherboard: gigabyte GA 270x k7
Gfx card: EVGA 1080 ti sc
Processor Intel i7-7700k

Solution
I would perform a BIOS update before I installed the OS.
Steps
Update BIOS
Install OS (without the GTX 1080Ti)
If everything is good, Install the GTX 1080Ti

If card is still not recognized, force the BIOS to initialize the PCIe card as the first video device and try that.
that generally just means a legacy boot event is occurring, how about you give us the full details and break down of your system?

Thanks for updating with specs but what the hell is plugged in? USB drives? thumb drives? SSD's? HD's? Mice? keyboard?...

Unplug absolutely everything except the power button from the motherboard, remove the video card, reset the BIOS. Connect monitor to the integrated video. If it gets into BIOS OK, add the disk back in. If it boots, shut down and add the video card in. Proceed to plug one header or thing back in at a time.If it hangs on the AE boot event , usually the culprit can be a bad SSD or HD, but lets go down this road.

So I had connected my monitor, keyboard, and mouse. I was wondering if it would be possible for the issue to be that I have my HDMI connected into my mobo instead of having a DVI straight into the You? I'm just asking before I start taking things apary.

Yeah, the HDMI shouldd be into your discrete graphics card, Windows may have booted perfectly fine, you just can't see it.

One last question, my desktop doesn't have a disk drive and I don't have my OS connected into the flash drive yet, it should still come up with bios correct? And doing what you said now.

Alright so I found out my bios settings were not correct they are at v6 which could be the reason why it was not registering my graphics card and why it may need an update i assume?
