motherboard fan problem

Okay so my mobo only supports 3 case fans but my corsair 500r has 4, and I would love too put two more case fans in soon, and I domt understand what fans the built in fan controller controlls, also is it bad too use splitters on the mobo fan slots, and if not what fans are good for running at 100% and last long, I would like too add a fan controllee if that's best but I'm new too this so idkwhat to get or jhow many watts one would use up because I only have 650w psu.

Know any good brands that nake good quality long lasting fans? I don't really care about noise, just performance

I have 4 120mm Cooler Master fans in my case and I'm happy with them.
