Quick Question.

Currently own an Asus Crosshair Hero VII Wifi and getting sick of the buggy bios and unable to run my ram above 3066.

I might be looking for a new board;

Can support memory without problem +3600
Support Ryzen 3700x
Fully supports my M.2 drive without sacrificing speed for my graphics card.
I don't need 4.0 support

I'm thinking of the new X470 GAMING PRO MAX

Would love to hear other suggestions.

That looks like a decent choice.
But if I had your current motherboard, I would just wait for a BIOS update that lets you run your RAM at 3600 MHz.
I personally have an Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming motherboard with a Ryzen 5 2600 and I plan on upgrading to a Ryzen 7 3700x.
I have had this motherboard since November 2018 and I am very happy with it so far.
I am just waiting for Asus/AMD to get the bugs worked out of the BIOS before I do.
I have 3200 MHz G.Skill TridentZ RGB that I run at 3333 MHz that I will keep when I upgrade.
I know 3600/3733 MHz RAM is optimal for the Ryzen 3000 series CPU's but I don't believe it will make enough of a difference to warrant the price of a newer motherboard and RAM kit.
