Hello,
It is seems that the Intel is an awful company that created a huge inconvenience for its users.
Apparently LGA1151 socket has 2 revisions, and my revision having the top processor for the generation(6700k) has been left off board.
I paid ~1000 Australian dollars for it years ago, and it works perfectly to date.
However, the company has made a revision instead of creating a new socket, and now my CPU has no motherboards supported in sale.
Now when I go to Newegg and look for Lga1151 motherboards - by 1151 they don't mean my processor anymore, the 1151 has been appropriated and rewritten, and all who spent 1000 dollars on a top notch processor are left off board.
I have my MOBO broken, and I was looking to buy a new one for my processor - Lga1151 compatible. None of the results are compatible with Skylake, I even tried pcpartspicker - zero, null, zilch results.
The question: where to buy a new 6700k compatible mobo for a regular home Pc for an adequate price
