[SOLVED] Motherboard for amd Fx 8300

cpu amd fx 8300
2x 8gb ram 1866mhz (Kingston HyperX FURY)
motherboard GA 970a ds3 rev 3.0
i have a temporary gpu that only shows the screen (not a gaming gpu)

i broke the motherboard while everything else still working, but im well off at the moment.

my budget can buy me Asrock N68-VS3 FX 20$

or i can wait and buy second hand from aliexpress GA 970a ds3P for 60$

You should look at a beefy power delivery equipped AMD Am3+ socket motherboard. I'd advise in getting something with a 990FX chipset or a 970 with a good power delivery and with a beefy heatsink. If you don't follow those guidelines when purchasing you're going to have the board burn up(literally).

PS:
- back to my GA 970A DS3, the north and the south bridge used to get really hot amd that what broke the motherboard in the first place. so is GA 970A DS3P (same name add with "P") would be a better choice.

FX-6000 series on that baord, okay...FX-8000 series on that board, nope. Are you sure you're not on the FX-8350 or the FX-8370?

i also noted that this cpu takes along time to start up to bios, sometimes 5min.
is this normal .?
