Motherboard for intel i7 4790(non k) and Asus GTX 970

Which one is better for this CPU and GPU :

- ASRock H97 Pro4
- Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H
- ASRock H97 Performance (i've read that H97 Performance has many issues). I am not planning to overclock. Give other suggestions if there are better choices.

I'd go with the Asrock H97 Pro4, although even if your not overclocking you still may want to consider a Z97 MB if you ever want to run that GTX 970 in SLI.

I will set a SLI after 3 or 4 years maybe, but then i will buy a better motherboard, because i don't have the money for a better one now.

I am concerned only about the fans. My case has 5 fans pre installed, but the motherboard has only 3 entries. Can I somehow turn the other 2 on ?

YEs, you can connect them to the PSU with molex adapters or you can get fan splitter cables for the motherboard.

OR you can spend like $20 and get a standalone fan controller like the NZXT Sentry Mesh.

Why would you get the Pro4 instead of the Performance. Isn't the Performance motherboard better ?

It isn't worth the money over the Pro4. It doesn't really offer anything better.

If you are spending over $100 on a motherboard you should be getting a Z97 board. There is absolutely no reason to ever buy there H97 killer.
