I'm planning to upgrade my PC, and the question is what motherboard I should purchase that would use maximum potential of intel i9 10900k? Moreover, I also intend to buy RTX 3080 + 32 GB of ram memory and water cooling for the processor. I aim to get the maximum performance from this rig. Now, I know that the best motherboard is MSI Z490 Godlike but this one would already exceed my budget. Therefore, I've been considering MSI MEG Z490 ACE. I have little knowledge about motherboards, their ports, connections and stuff like that, so please don't use all those technical terms, otherwise I will get lost. Will this Z490 ACE be sufficient for this PC? Also, are there some other, cheaper motherboards that would retain the same performance as MSI Godlike, for instance?
Thanks in advance

If you plan on overclocking, or paying someone to do it, that MB should do it perfectly. https://premiumbuilds.com/motherboards/best-motherboards-for-i9-10900k/ - check this link and then decide :)

By "that MB" you mean MEG Z490 ACE?
I do plan to overclock it, at least minimally, so MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Edge Wi-Fi would perform as well as aforementioned MSI Godlike? Sorry if this may sound dumb; the logic tells that a motherboard which is twice as expensive will have better performance. However, I really would like to know if a 200$ motherboard can perform as good as the one for over 700$.
