Yes, this price is promotion.

Take A320 right out of consideration, it's not up to snuff power wise for 8 cores, 3 cores tops. You also may be better off with a good b450 motherboard, not only that it's compatible right out of the box but also better with fast RAM.

There is no such thing as a 3 core ryzen. A320 can run a 2700, but cannot overclock. They are really made for business rigs. The R7 2700 is only a 65w chip.

Dont have promotions of b450/b350 in my country. The more cheap b450 is $155

Wrong button,. 4 cores but every one with even 2600 makes problems. 2700 is 65W TDP while under load it can pull 100W+ of electrical power. Those two things are related but not same.

For Ryzen CPUs TDP is typically very close to max power consumption. Anandtech has the 2700 drawing ~62W under load. https://www.anandtech.com/show/12625/amd-second-generation-ryzen-7-2700x-2700-ryzen-5-2600x-2600/8

Edit: Although now that I look at those results again, the fact that a 2600 apparently draws more power at full load than a 2700 is kinda odd. They seem to chalk it up to binning.

I buy only Asus motherboards because they have 3 years warranty here, bios has updates often, ez flash and high quality.
