I've had my motherboard for about 2 years now and I've tried fixing it before but I gave up because it was too much trouble. Now I come back to try to fix because I'm selling my system. So, the motherboard forgets its changes in the bios when the computer restarts but weirdly, it doesn't forget changes when I shutting down. This is a pain in the ass because my ram resets to 1300mhz and my motherboard refuses to boot into windows unless the ram is 1600mhz. Also, when I restart it shows the bios for 2 seconds goes black and shows the bios again but when I shut down and turn it back on it doesn't do this. I figured that if the bios show itself again the second time it means the ram changes or any changes didn't save. My motherboard, cpu, and ram are GA Z97x-gaming 7, i7 4770k and two 8gb sticks of ddr3 corsair vengeance ram.
