Question Motherboard Fpanel not working

So I recently cleaned off corrosion from my f panel due to it picking up no hdmi signal. It workee great for the rest of the day but I wake up today and Im back in the same predicament.

i have a asus z-390-p

Tried cleaning the fpanel again with isopropyl alcohol but still nothing

is there anything I can do or is it time to break open a piggy bank?

Do you have an image of what you're dealing with? I think you could use rust remover but the deal here is that it can and will soak into the PCB of the motherboard and then damage the traces inside the PCB.

List your full system's specs and perhaps you can get a workaround via a cheap discrete GPU, if you're not doing gaming with the system.
