My laptop got something spilled on it. It was alcoholic and it was sugary, the worst combination from what I hear. My laptop was on at the time and I was unaware of the spill until later that night. By that time it was rebooting and shutting down constantly. I turned it off and pulled it apart the next day to wipe the pieces down with isopropyl alcohol but I was too late to save it. I know the motherboard is fried, as it won't turn on, but how can I tell what parts I can salvage? I'm pretty sure the ram, the hard drive, and the network card are fine, as well as the screen and case and possibly keyboard but how do I know if the CPU/GPU are fine?
