Hi
I got a new casing and screwed my motherboard on (MSI 7255). After connecting the motherboard to the power wires, it refused to boot into BIOS. The display remains blank.
I think my motherboard is dead. I without proper knowledge tested it on my metallic PC cover and after recent research realized that I probably damaged my motherboard.
Just would like to ask, if my motherboard is truly dead, would my CPU fan and hard disk still run as I can hear my hard disk running and see the CPU fan running.
Thanks
Gil

Yes...you can still have a dead MB with those components running.
