I just got a MSI B550 Gaming Plus. First and foremost, my cpu, my gpu and my ram are not new, they work perfectly, been using them for 3 years.
First time booting, no problems, works like a charm. After that, everytime the motherboard gets stuck in VGA (the VGA light on the board is on) for random amounts of time, sometimes just 2 minutes, sometimes 5, sometimes it gets stuck forever. Clearing CMOS doesn't fix it, unplugging and plugging the gpu back doesn't fix it. I've managed to boot to windows, and once again, my GPU is intact. So, is my motherboard just straight up broken, what could it be?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

PSU: make, model, wattage, age (3 years?), condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

Monitor, make and model? VGA connection via the GPU card - correct? Are you able to try another known working VGA cable?

BIOS and all drivers up to date?

The PSU is brand new and has a gigantic overhead, it's not the PSU. It does that regardless of disk drivers, not important. Monitors aren't new, cables aren't new, does the same regardless of monitor conections, not important, did it before plugging anything into it, before and after installing windows, not relevant either. BIOS it's the one that came with the board, didn't touch it, it's newer than the newest available on the official MSI website, soemhow. Once again, the PC works, it boots, everything works, I tested everything, it's just the motherboard sticks to "vga" for however long it feels like, sometimes 2 seconds, sometimes 5 minutes.
