motherboard gone bad

hi. i have ASUS laptop- x453m model. i just left my laptop on and when it off the screen (sleepmode) i tried to turn it on after a moment then it suddenly won't work. power button didn't work. not charging and no light indicator at all. i already went to diff technician and they said its the motherboard that has a problem. can i still fix this? or need to replace a new one? pls help. thanks

If it is the motherboard, it just would need replacing. Depending on how old the laptop is and how costly the motherboard is (plus the tech costs) would be how I would decide to fix it or replace it. Ask them for a solid quote on the work. Then you will have a better idea.
