I have an MSI 990 FXA GD65 mobo which support PCIE2 x 16 and I'm going to upgrade the CPU with a AMD FX 8350. I'm thinking of upgrading my GPU as well with one of this: MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or MSI Radeon RX 570. Both are PCIE 3.0. Am I deceiving myself or does it worth the upgrade. An opinion would be greatly appreciated. Price is not an issue.

Solution
Anything about FX 8350 would not provide much better performance and will probably require big cooling.
You'd be better off with newer AMD or Intel processors as said above.
Thanks for the response. But changing to a Ryzen or an Intel will require changing the mobo and I'm not ready to do that, yet. Besides I already bought the processor. I get for $80 on Newegg .When I say price was not an issue I was referring to the video cards. Other upgrades would be out of my budget. I already have a couple of after market cooling.
