So long as the board has an availale PCIe slot for the GPU, you'll be good tog o. Please make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard prior to dropping anything new. Also, what is the make and model of your GPU and it's age?

Edit:
Your board's support page only lists one BIOS version and it's first release.
