I used Google to find the answers, but as the search can go on and on, I stopped at 3rd link (all were to Tom's). As the answers weren't related to my question, I'd like to ask another one, among many other similar ones.

I have Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI motherboard, which has 1 + power LED pins and 2 - ones.
My case, however - Thermaltake Chaser A21, has only 2 connectors. It doesn't work. Is it possible to make the LED turn on when the computer is on, without buying anything extra?

Solution
OK you have the second type. This means your Power LED wires are separate. Don't worry, we will get you straitened out.

from the following pic you can see your Power LED wires will connect to the top first two pins in the following order. Positive to the left and the negative to the right.

I highlighted the proper 2 pins to connect to in red/maroon box. No special connector needed. Just hook the 2 power led wires to the proper positive and negative pins and you will be all set. IF ou have fat fingers like many do you can use a pair of needle nose pliers toy help connect these leads.
ok Please correct me if I am wrong on your Case Connectors, But the Power LED pins on the motherboard will be side by side, this means one will be positive (+) and the one right next to it is negative (-). These are the pins you need to use. Just the ones side by side. THe second negitive you are seeing is for another connector.

As for the case there connector can be set one of two ways and most simple is the double wire connector. This one has two wires going in to one connector. This way is the easiest to hook up BUT then there is the second:

the second is the single wire connectors where the positive and negative are in a single separate connector. this one is the pain because you need to connect each one separately.

Either one the Power Led Pins will be next to each other. Your manual will halp tell you which ones are the correct ones.

OK. Thanks, it helped. I also fixed the HDD LED (it was pinned the other way - plus where should be minus, minus where should be plus). Now all lights work. All what's left is to find a way to fix the 0x9f BSOD. Last report says that Razer's drivers make it happen. Probably should reinstall...
