Motherboard + Heatsink compatibility

Hi, I am just wondering if my motherboard, the Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P ATX AM3+ and my CPU cooler, the CRYORIG H7 49.0 CFM would be compatible and work together, since I have seen a few videos of CRYORIG H7 installation and am unsure that their install style would work with my motherboard- here is the link to the video I watched (the install is at about 6:50)

yes they are compatible you are looking at intel insatallation. You will also get a backplate for AMD so it will fit on you motherboard .
