Motherboard help needed!

Hey! I am having an issue with my new build. My GPU is not working correctly and i am returning it from the store i bought it from. That is the GTX 960 2gb to be precise. I want to be on my computer without a GPU, but here is the problem;

The HDMI output on the motherboard is not working!

So how can i fix this? Here is my specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-z97mx Gaming 5 (BIOS F4)
Processor: Intel Core i5 4460 3,2 ghz (w/ Stock Cooler)
RAM: 8GB Hyperx Fury Red Ram
Storage: 120gb Ssd Kingston
Fans: 3x Corsair 120gb Fans
Power: Corsair CX 500W Power Supply

if you're not sure about the graphics card being broken (and it could be running ok) try updating the bios before you return it

It is broken, i just need help enabling the HDMI on my motherboard

try resetting the bios to default, the hdmi should work automatically

try also to use a dvi to hdmi adapter in case there;s something wrong with the port itself
