Motherboard help with Ram and CPU

And I was wondering if I need a specific type of Ram or can I just put any type of desktop ram inside?I currently have 4 gbs and I'm trying to reach 8gbs.

And as for the CPU, will any CPU work? ( I currently have Intel Core Duo CPU E7600 3.06GHz)

So from what i just read you should be able to use ddr3 in that motherboard but it comes factory with 1066mhz ddr2, So i would recommend trying to find the same ram and adding it to the existing set or buying a new set off ddr2.

Its shows that it uses ddr3. Up to 16gb of ddr3 1333MHz. And as for cpu, you could use a cpu with an lga775 socket.

ooo great information, do u have any recommendations for gaming cpus? likw hat should i look for when choosing one, im only looking at the GHz and i think there are other factors that should be considered

Search the forum for best cpu. I think you can upgrade to a quad core. The graphics are integrated, so if your not running dual channel ram setup, do that to slightly improve your graphics as well.
