Question Motherboard I/O shield doesnt line up with case

I'm starting to assemble my computer and ran into a problem. The tabs on the motherboard I/O shield dont line up with the slots on the case. Is this a defect in the manufacturing which will require me to send it back, or a design flaw in the motherboard or case?

Motherboard: Gigabyte x570 Master
Case: Corsair 570x
