Question Motherboard installation

Hi just wondering how I can prepare my system for a new mobo. Will it mess with my windows. And I'm guessing I'll lose all my bios settings too?

Yes and with a new board , it's best to backup and perform a clean install of windows.

Is there a way I can keep the games and game saves that are on my windows drive? or will I just have to wipe it completely. Also how do I get my windows activation key or whatever its called as it was already pre installed as a pre build? I got a windows restore pendrive I can fresh install windows with this?
