Motherboard isn't detecting CPU (771 to 77 mod)

Yesterday, i recived my new Slanq Xeon E5450 (not modded) and I want to do the 771 to 775 mod. When i put the cpu on the Motherboard (cutting two little sticks on the socket), the BIOS didn't start, my motherboard is a Foxconn G31MXP (Socket 775).
Today, i updated the BIOS to the lastest version and this is not starting.
What can i do? (my actually cpu is a quad core Q8200).
