Motherboard issue: NB 205

when I turn on NB205, screen is not displaying and it automatically switch off within 7 seconds. I tried a lot to switch again and again but still problem remains. I think, motherboard is not function properly. Please help me on this issue

You are right, either motherboard or power supply issue. Are you trying on battery only or wall power? Try only wall power and remove the battery. If that does not help, try removing the battery, unplug from power and hold in the power button for about 30 seconds, try it again. If that does not fix things, you'll have to have someone check it, but it's probably not worth repairing, I'd just buy the same model used working and swap hard drives. Or a totally new laptop.
