Hello everyone, I have the following build :
Desktop
Msi Z97 Gaming 5
Gigabyte GTX 970
HyperX Fury 2 x 8GB memory
Intel 4790k
Thermaltake 650W PSU
3 SSD / 1 HDD / 1 DVD reader/writer

Ive been getting this BSOD everytime I try to install win10 : https://www.dropbox.com/s/on1o2owozwobmj2/8397E691-22B3-4F0D-BC4F-62BE18389694.jpeg?dl=0
I noticed some weird screen patterns while installing from bootable usb:

What I did so far :
Power supply died 1 week after issue started and was replaced (it might have damaged board)
Tried pc with onboard video (hdmi), spare memory dimms, 1 ssd . Same issue.

please let me know if there is a way I might actually save this build.

thank you very much.

So, the last thing I could really do, would be to check the cpu and re-seat it?

If it doesn’t work, would it be better to simply upgrade current setup with new amd processor/mobo/memory instead of hoping to find a compatible board?

Thanks,
