hi guys
i have some misunderstending here
right now iam signed to 2.5MB internet on cable using modem
i want to upgrade to 12MB
but i am not sure if my onboard LAN can support it
my cable's company described on their site the hardawre requirements
for internet speed up to 12MB(not include, as i understand from them) they said onboard LAN in 10/100 Mbit speed is enough
for internet speed from 12MB and up , they say there's need for external 10/100/1000 PCI card
but my motherboard: gigabyte GA-MA785GT-UD3H GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket AM3 - GA-MA785GT-UD3H (rev. 1.0)
already support 10/100/1000 speed
it got the: Realtek 8111C chip (10/100/1000 Mbit)
maybe the cable's company referend to old computer which only had 10/100 Mbit........
what do you think??
thx 4 the helpers
