Motherboard lose bios firmware?

Hello,
My mobo doesnt support my CPU without a firmware upgrade (it came with this when i purchased it as a bundle)

A few years on

My computer wont boot now i get 1 short beep and a basic grey screen saying gigabyte.

Is it possible in any way that the BIOS FW has reverted back to a version that is not supporting my CPU?.

I only come to this conclusion as ive disconnect all other hardware and have the same problem.

Does MB have dual BIOS ?

Yeah its has dual uefi bios

It could have red in "spare" BIOS. See what manual for your MB says, with my Gigabyte MB I needed to press F11 after BIOS upgrade so it writes same BIOS version into spare one.

Thank you so much for prompting to look at the dual bios. I found online holding down power and reset for 10 seconds forced it to go into recovery mode. Im now back into bios

That's what dual bios feature is for, to get you out of trouble if one goes bad.

Well i been chasing my tale thinking its the PSU or CPU for the last 2 days. God knows how the bios managed to curropt from just reseting the machine
