Hi guys, I'm planning to get 3000mhz memory speed DDR4 and my motherboard is asusprime a320ma,

I've read it is not compatible with 3000mhz of ram speed, it only supports 3200mhz and 2933mhz, 2666mhz and pretty much everything but 3000.

Would I still be able to boot into the Bios to underclock/overclock speed or will there be no display at all?

Thanks in advance

Solution
AMD Ryzen 2nd Generation CPUs can run at 2933MHz which is their maximum officially supported speed of 2933MHz with a kit of two modules.

Since the AMD A320 Chipset has little or no overclocking features, you would need a CPU that can run memory at 2933MHz without overclocking to take advantage of 3000MHz memory. So performance would depend on which CPU you are using.
From the manufacturer's page:

https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/PRIME-A320M-A/specifications/

AMD Ryzen™ 2nd Generation/ Ryzen™ with Radeon™ Vega Graphics/ Athlon™ with Radeon™ Vega Graphics/ Ryzen™ 1st Generation Processors

Dual Channel Memory Architecture
ECC Memory (ECC mode) support varies by CPU.
* Hyper DIMM support is subject to the physical characteristics of individual CPUs.
* Refer to www.asus.com for the Memory QVL (Qualified Vendors Lists).
