Question Motherboard Memory

Have Gateway FX6800-01e motherboard has 6 memory slots, three are white and three are blue. According to specs it should work with 12 Gb memory 2 Gb in each slot. Works fine with 3ea 2Gb in white slots but will not work with anything in blue slots. Will not work with same memory sticks in 3 blue slots only.

Is there some trick to activate the blue slots. Manuals on Gateway manuals not helpful, cannot find manuals on motherboard.

Ler me know if anyone has suggestions

Have you tried a single blue and a single white; 4 gb total......in various combinations of white/blue?

Are all 6 sticks identical? How "identical"????

Anything might happen if not "identical" in some way.

Identical 6ea DIMM's ! Three in white slots work good, changed to the other three in white slots and they work. NOTHING works in blue slots.
