Question Motherboard micro socket repair..

Toshiba satalite A505 S6960 laptop motherboard issues..5 pin micro socket top far right side of the motherboard next to the power in socket..5pin micro is damaged beyond repair/Non existing. Wire that plugs into socket runs up under right side hinge of laptop into the lcd screen ribbon...My question is there a temp work around fix that can be done now..Can the lcd wire be soldered to motherboard?? If so ive yet to find a labled diagram of the motherboard to assist in my thoughts of will it work.?? Any help..I thank you in advance
