I have a motherboard with a capacitor that has been pulled off. My question is weather or not it will operate without it, or not. The motherboard is not overclocked and im thinking the cap is for one PCIE slot. Im just not sure what to do here. Im afraid to power the board up because of this. I have the capacitor so that should mack things easier if i have to have this repaired.

Not sure how to get a pic on here, but i have a good one that shows everything.

you will need someone to desolder and clear the pins from the PCB holes and replace the capacitor. if you can solder I would assume it would have been fixed by now. if there an electronics repair shop/tv and such? they should be able to throw that cap in with ease.

I was looking for used boards and repair will be cheaper, 3-400$ for a used board same model, ouch.
at this point the board needs a solder man and a new cap or complete replacement.

if you wanted to test I would breadboard it and shrink the risk. one stick of RAM, keyboard and GPU only, see if it boots. then add the drives step at a time. basic troubleshooting.
honestly a new board may be quicker and definitely safer.

Is it possible to bridge the cap pins?

That's what i thought, is that for just 1 slot, or is it just kinda combined as a group
