So I was just playing Team Fortress 2 and my PC randomly shut down and then when I restarted my computer I noticed the gpu and cpu's fan(s) were not kicking in.

There was however still power going into the GPU according to the led and all my case fans were running which are connected to a controller.

I've came here to get a second opinion or for suggestions I could try to find out if it's fixable or if I need to actually get a brand new motherboard as I'd love it if I wasn't limited only to the option of where I have to reboot all my hard drives and solid state drives and reinstall my software and programs again.

Specifications:

Case: 100r
Mobo: H81M-DGS R2.0
CPU: i5-4460
GPU: Asus Strix - GTX 750 Ti
RAM: 1x8GB Patriot Signature
PSU: EVGA 750w G2
CASE FANS:
- stock Corsair exhaust fan /moved to the front of the case
- 3 NZXT FN V2 fans positioned at the top and rear of the case
FAN CONTROLLER: NZXT Sentry Mesh 5 Channel Fan Controller
Adapters: I have one adapter which is used to convert the USB 2.0 slot on the motherboard to the case's USB 3.0 female slot

If I do end up being limited to getting a new motherboard, please fill free to suggest me a motherboard, I'm limited to 1150 sockets at MSY and PcCaseGear.

Solution
You should try to disconnect the all the HDD/SSD, gtx 750ti, and the RAM too, using onboard iGPU. After clear the CMOS, and boot the PC.
1) The PC will not boot, so the MB may have problem, because something likes that, most of time the MB is gone.
2) The PC usually will boot, if the CPU/MB is fine, but you will get no RAM or no boot device error. After you can add the hardware one by one, and you will know which one will has problem.

If the MB is dead, depends on your budget, any H81, H97, B85, motherboard should be fine. https://www.pccasegear.com/category/138_1491/motherboards/intel-socket-1150/sort/1
