Question Motherboard name

I noticed some particular mobos are named with weapons(especially MSI) . Why would they even do that?

marketing, the power of the weapon correlates to its relative position in the line up.

so boozoka < mortar < tomahawk....

Marketing gimmick, same as "Gaming" moniker, means nothing except to raise the price and eventually distinguish names from other boards from same manufacturer.
No correlation with any of those weapons, a Tomahawk may be better than a Bazooka unless you are attacking a tank
