Hey everyone, I'm getting a bit confused here, just replaced my power supply thinking that it was the problem, when in fact i still have the same problem. It needed replaced anyways but, I still need help with my problem.

Alright so I have 4 sticks of 8gb corsair vengeance DDR3 ram, and a gigabyte ga-990fxa-ud3 Mobo, So In windows it only comes up with 8gb's of memory, so I tried the bios and the bios says only 8 as well, So I tried memory stability tests to see if maybe one of them has died or something, all tests I've done come out as just fine. So Tried testing all sticks of ram, as far as I could tell all come up with 8 gb's no matter what slot they are put in, So here is the problem, why aren't all the of the slots detected all at once? I've tried other ram some crap muskin 2 gb and 6 gb sticks and come out (depending primary A1 or in A2 I believe A2 comes up over A1?) 2 or 6 but never 8. So whats going on here? all slots work and the ram seems to all work, but not together I'm not sure what this problem would even be called. but Any help would be great.

Specs!

Mobo: GA-990FXA UD3
Cpu: AMD FX 8350
Ram: 4 Sticks of 8gb Corsair Vengeance Ram.
Gpu: XFX R9 270x
OS: Windows 10 x64

Just so you know, 2 of the 4 ram sticks are new while the other two are a bit older. but i've been running with this config for about a year now, only thing new as I said above is the PSU which is what i thought the problem was before.

Thanks for any feed back guys.

Hey there tradesman thanks for the help there, and for wasting, all of the times. mine, yours, my boyfriend who helped me with all this. bad... good news? I went to plug in all of the sticks again to give you the info you need, and uh they are all showing up now, Not sure what I did just moved around the sticks? Really sorry about this. Try to Swap the sticks around if you are also having this problem.

-Riley, Truely sorry.
